BUILDING AT BEZEK CENTRE
ON THE ISLAND OF OMETEPE
IS MOVING FORWARD!

God has been faithful! On March the 5th 2021, the first Cabin you see to your left still required the installation of the doors, electrical system, and security bars on the windows.
Now, Cabins 1 and 2 have been successfully completed with Cabin number 3 well on the way. Cabin #3 just needs some of the final touch-ups. Window security bars need to be installed, the electrical work completed, and some plumbing work.
As you can see from Cabin #1, Cabins #2 through #4 have been made 1 meter deeper. This will allow for a total of 6 double bunks per cabin instead of a total of 4 double bunks in Cabin #1.
God willing, we calculate a total of 36 people in Cabins 2, 3, and 4 with another 4 people in Cabin #1. It is our prayer that many kids will Experience God's Love and Presence on this beautiful property God has provided!
Currently, the Carpenters are hard at work completing Cabin #3 and starting the work on Cabin #4. Thanks to the ingenuity of the carpenters a water line was brought all the way from the Main building to this point where they daily mix concrete for the buildings.
As you can appreciate, it is quite a distance from Cabin #3 to the main building at Bezek Centre where the water comes from.
The small white pipe that can be seen, is the water line from the Centre and the pile of sand and stone is the place they are currently mixing concrete for Cabin #4.
In the photo on the right, you can see the beginnings of Cabin #4. This is a picture of the dorm on the right-hand side.
This central part of the building will be the bathroom/Shower area for each dorm. At the far end, will be the bathroom for Dorm #2. From the area I am taking the picture is the bathroom/Shower area for Dorm #1.
From the picture on the right, you see the property limits of Bezek Centre as well as all the 4 cabins lined up.
This is the Bathroom area in Cabin #2, Dorm #1. All the Cabins and each of their dorms have the same setup for the bathrooms.
Currently, we are using an outhouse since the septic system will need to be put in place in the future. You can see, however, that plans have been made to put toilets in. Please pray that God continues providing so that a septic system can be put in.
As you can see from the picture, Cabins 2,3&4 have enough space to put 3 double bunks in. Please be praying so that God provides through His people so that these cabins can be furnished.
We thank God also for allowing us to meet up with Ben Slow: A local owner of a Restaurant on the Island and the Foreman of the project along with his team of workers. Because of them, we not only have the use of the cabins that will soon be ready to use but also this new outhouse for large groups of people.
Along with the construction of the cabins, In 2021 many important repairs were made to the main building.
Rotting Joists for the roofing around the patio, electrical work inside the building amongst other critical jobs had to be prioritized in spite of their busy schedule with the Cabins.
I always feel very blessed and thankful to God...
As I see the abundant blessings He has poured out over our lives.
When I look at the Main Building, dedicated as the teaching Centre, It is my prayer that many children come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. My longing is to see those same children walk with Him in intimacy through the infilling Presence of the Holy Spirit and lastly see many teachers trained to reach other children for Christ.
I give thanks to my Lord and Savior for all He has done. To Just A Cup (JAC) who has raised funds through coffee sales to make all this possible and to my family who tirelessly has worked to support the work in the ministry.
